I felt the story had nothing unusual. A duke with a harsh up bringing falling for an independent women. I skipped few pages as it was little too long.
Emma Barrington, a bookkeeper’s tries to keep her father’s business afloat. Emma , an intelligent woman not understanding Lord Miggs intention didn’t do justice to her intellect or courage.
Lucas, a duke with a bad temper falls for Emma. He asks her tutor him to control his emotions especially his anger. Lucas could’ve been portrayed better.
Overall an average book
